For work I have a so-called "dot-Mac" account, which is Apple's online subscription service providing users with a slow webDAV connection to some online storage space, an email address that rarely gets spam, the ability to sync and VNC, and so on.

I rarely use the service because I have things that do the same thing; other email accounts, servers that I can store stuff on myself via normal FTP, and so on. But sometimes for work I use it because my work computer is tied to my account.

Recently, I needed to post some code that I'd written at home to the storage space online so that I could have it when I got to work Monday morning. Also recently, dot-mac became me-dot-com and also changed their interface.

Apparently their new and improved service likes Linux less than Microsoft Vista. Thanks, Apple. Sure am glad you're fighting the good fight.
